Style and fit
Sunglasses are a visible statement of who you are, and there is always room to push the envelope. When selecting, consider the fit on the bridge of your nose and against your temples; they should stay put when you move. If they feel comfortable, then it will probably be a good fit. Our team of experienced opticians know how to fit glasses and will know what styles would work best.
Protection
Your sunglasses should block harmful UV rays, and will have a tint on the lens to reduce light. The tints are customisable, so talk to our opticians about what would work for you including solid colours, gradient tints, mirror coatings, and lenses that adjust to changing light levels.
Durability
Consider the material your glasses are made from. Most of our sunglasses are made from a specialised acetate or lightweight acrylic. These materials provide durability and longevity and remain looking great year after year.
Polarised lenses
These lenses reduce glare from reflective surfaces like water, roads or snow, making them ideal for driving or outdoor activities.
Prescription lenses
If you wear optical glasses, have your prescription in your sunglasses too – you will wear your sunglasses far more.

The optometrist is world-class
I can easily say that everything about my 3 visits there (one to pick out frames, then an eye exam, and finally to pick up finished frames) was positive in every way. I also received the most comprehensive and intelligent eye exam-the optometrist there is world-class! I would recommend Kuske without reserve, it was an absolute pleasure working with them.

Very Cool
Working with Kuske personnel for a unique look in eyewear was a great experience from the moment I walked in the door. Extremely informed and savvy, the staff were chill and hung back while I ‘window-shopped’ but were right there when I wanted support-it was very personalized service but not overbearing.

Karen and Jason Kirk
Karen studied graphic design and began her design career in Soho London agencies and it was only after meeting Jason that she turned her hand to eyewear.
Jason studied French and began his career in sales and marketing for L’Oreal before discovering a cache of 1950s and ’60s glasses in his father’s optical practice.
The partnership works well with the combination of Karen’s creative skills and Jason’s optical experience. They live and work in Brighton on the South Coast of England.
Karen collects 60s and 70s glassware and is deeply inspired by the work of the late Italian glass designer Flavio Poli, nods to his work can be seen in many of her designs.
It starts in Brighton
Every frame is thoughtfully designed by Karen Kirk, the Creative Director based in Brighton, UK. Her passion for fashion and keen eye for style shines through every pair of glasses. From concept to creation, her innovative designs capture the essence of individuality and self‑expression.
Materials are sourced from Italy
The unique, custom made K-Lite™ material comes in sheet form. The personalised colour selections and combinations are one of the reasons that Kirk & Kirk eyewear is so distinctive. K-Lite™ allows the Kirk & Kirk wearer to truly express who they are.
This material allows for its own unique colour palette. These colours are specific to Kirk & Kirk so you won’t find them duplicated.
Handmade in France
To maintain the high quality and specificity of these glasses and designs, each one is handmade from start to finish in France.
Each pair gets turned in barrels of woodchip and pumice for about two days, from where it is hand-polished to remove any remaining blemishes. This creates the vitreous, translucent glow that is typical of Kirk & Kirk glasses.
By keeping the production in one factory from start to finish, the quality is controlled, checked four times during the production process and then again before being printed with the logo – the ultimate seal of approval.
Once formed into eyewear, each pair is individually constructed and inspected.
